Rigby

Cody Rigby, an excellent musician and one of my favorite people of all time, asked me to take photos of him for his upcoming show at Muse. If you're in the area, you should check it out.

I made this today. Listen to the song that inspired it here.

20 Activities, less than $20, for under 20°

This is an informative article that I wrote for HEX Magazine's winter issue.

St.George

I wish I had taken more pictures to better document the beauty of the St.George desert. Connor and the Allens were kind enough to invite me to spend the weekend before Christmas in the slightly warmer Southern end of the state. I can't wait to go back in March with a little more dedication to my camera.

Shooting

There's nothing quite like quality family(/friend/neighbor) time.

Lumberjacks

There's something very empowering about felling a tree and enjoying the warmth it provides.

Chicago

I had the very good fortune to travel to Chicago over the Halloween weekend with my fellow editors of the Review. It didn't even take a full day for me to fall in love with Chicago. The architecture was absolutely incredible. The entire city (or the pleasant parts that I explored anyway) emits a sophisticated, dark, serious mood. It's perfect.
While I was there I visited the Onion offices, ate deep dish, ate at my first pub, listened to lots of writing lectures, and spent as much time on the streets as I possibly could.

ps. That photo of the very disgruntled gentleman with the mustache was a total (wonderful) accident.

Halloween

I was a very last minute Bunnicula
(my uncle's nickname for me for as long as I can recall).

Orange

Of course we had to spend at least one evening taking photos of/with the beautiful turning leaves. It may be cliche to do so, but they really are lovely. I'm grateful that I live in a place where I get to experience fall.
